Day 45
as the heat fades away
reach for the tool on the rack it lay
fingers grasp icy cold
the iron black they take a hold
off the rack the metal moves
into the wood making grooves
from beneath a glow appears
heat from within now draws near
orange flames begin to grow
upon the wood they ebb and flow
burning hot the fire renewed
warmth coming forth no longer subdued
