Day 74
On Sunday, Februery 21st, 2010 Westwood Baptist Church in Alabaster, Alabama held a shoe drive to collect shoes to send to Haiti. Attenders were urged to wear the pair of shoes that they would be giving away and to leave barefoot. Though very unconventional, it helps to remind everyone of those that go without shoes every day due to poverty and national disasters. Giving shoes is the chance to make a world of a difference in the life of a person in need through a seemingly small contribution and to open the door to sharing the gospel.
