Day 85
Many of you know that I love riding my bike and have been known to ride to work on occasion. Today was not one of those days. I was off (yippee) so I hoped on my bike and just headed out, no plans, no destination, nothing. As I was peddling down the road I came across this old barn/warehouse and decided to stop to take some pics. I made my way through the briers and the grown up brush to the barn. All the doors were open and most of the windows had been broken so I had to be careful of glass. When I went inside the storage area and looked up, this is what I saw...

Stop or I'll Shoot!

Had to use the old iPhone camera for this one. I decided to lay a bunch (but not all believe it or not...) of my camera gear out so you can see the tools of the trade. Maybe one day I'll get all of my tripods, light stands, backdrops, studio lights etc together and make a pic of everything. I'm gonna need a bigger bed...

Wow, that's either the biggest Xbox Controller that I've ever seen or the smallest 57 Inch TV... Yes, I said 57 inches! But then why does the controller look so much bigger? Well, it's all about perception. It looks really grand but in reality everything has been placed in front of your eyes in just the right way in order to control, and skew, your perception...

I had the great opportunity tonight to hang out and dance with the crew from Rhythm N Motion. These are the owners TJ and Wendy, great dancers and great people. If you want to really learn to dance then these are the two to talk to!

Words of Wisdom

My buddy Dru is joining the Army so we threw him a little get-together to wish him well. During the party Paul decided to gather everyone in the living room so that we could pray over him and speak words of encouragement to him. Great times!

As I was talking to my roommate tonight the subject of food kept coming up, which totally reminded me of how hungry I was.... I threw on my coat and headed down to Mickey Dee's for some totally deelish yet horible for you food. It was everything I hoped it would be... :D

I had the opportunity to take some photographs today of some of the high profile types here in Birmingham... Namely William Bell, the Mayor of Birmingham and William Brooke one of the managing partners of the Harbert Management Corporations' Venture Capital Investment Team. Fun times!
